Beaman Park

One of our favorite places for a hike is Beaman Park. It’s pretty close to my house and offers multiple trails for every type of hiker.

An easier trail with great views is Sedge Hill Trail. It’s a .6 mile loop that starts and ends at the Nature Center, is almost totally paved and has benches for those needing a rest. The trail also features a few outlooks where you can take in the giant trees and maybe see some wildlife.

Another favorite trail of mine at Beaman Park is the Henry Hollow Trail. This 2 mile loop starts and ends at the trailhead on Little Marrowbone Road and takes hikers along a creek and up through the hills. It can be steep but is totally worth it! For more information, visit here.
